Hey People,
It’s almost time for our June Writers & Words reading. As always, we have four wonderful writers who will present their work at Charmington’s:
Anthony Moll is a poet, essayist, and military veteran. He writes about books for Baltimore Gay Life, and about queer life for Baltimore City Paper. He has taught writing at University of Baltimore and the University of California, Santa Cruz, and holds an MFA in Creative Writing and Publishing Arts from the former. His forthcoming chapbook of poems is to be released later this summer by akinoga press.

Tracy Hauser is an MFA graduate student in the University of Baltimore’s Creative Writing & Publishing Arts program. She reads more than she cleans and usually leaves the house with her hair wet. Her work has appeared in the latest issue of Abandoned Towers Magazine, Existere Journal, Delta Women’s Magazine, Nail Polish Stories, the Urbanite, Epiphany Magazine, Marco Polo Arts Magazine, Writer’s Underground, Trivial Typewriter, the Colonnades Literary Magazine, Literary Brushstrokes, Blood & Roses, The Rusty Nail, The Doctor T.J. Eckleberg Review, The Vein, and others. She is involved around the city in promoting writing through project-based learning activities for schools and organizations.

Alyse Richmond currently resides in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and is in the process of earning an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Chatham University with concentrations in poetry, travel writing, and publishing. Her work has been featured in various literary journals throughout the U.S., including: Welter, Lines + Stars, The Doctor T.J. Eckleburg Review, Cobalt, El Portal, Helix Magazine, The Lincoln Underground, and The Found Poetry Review, among others.

Jen Michalski is the author of the novels The Tide King and The Summer She Was Under Water, two collections of fiction, and a couplet of novellas. She hosts the fiction series Starts Here! in Baltimore.
